Aaron Northern, a Memphis TN native is an experienced Music Producer/Musician with credits on several Memphis music and media projects that include radio commercials and independent albums. Northern has also produced and performed several of his own independent instrumental albums. In 1997, Northern teamed with independent film director Michael Tabor to score music for the documentary "Reality MLK Jr." starring Judge Joe Brown. Northern has played drums for several R&B, Jazz, and Blues performers including: The University of Memphis Jazz Ensemble, Ecko Records Blues recording artist Quinn Golden, and former Bar-Kays member Winston Stewart. In 2003, Northern first performed locally, and toured Italy with Memphis native R&B/Gospel singer Jackie Johnson in cities such as Naples, Milan, La Spezia, Rome and more. In 2004 while in Europe, Northern had the pleasure of performing in several concerts and live television appearances with Johnson and trumpet recording artist Andrea Tofanelli , as well as saxophonist Davide Dal Pozzolo. He was also the soul music composer for the independent 2022 film documentary The Sound She Saw by Emmy award winning film writer/producer Crystal Whaley that received great acclaim in numerous film festivals throughout the US. Most recently via association with various US and Non-US production music libraries, Northern has received music composition sync placements for television in various countries such as Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, and Germany.
